well guys, have to report some sad news. my dad is moving and we have to relocate all of our mining equipment. the mine motor will be going out to seldom seen coal mine for a time to be determined. that will happen in a month or so. we are to begin pulling up rail tomorrow. all of the mine cars, are either going to be put in temporary storage, but still on display, or are going to the lackawanna mine tour for display. hopefully we can negotiate with the county to get it there, but you know how that can go sometimes. the motor really needs a place to live inside so thats why thats not going to lackawanna. all of our rail will go in storage for a short time until it can be relaid...... possibly somewhere dark  but thats another project for the future if all the stars align. so im glad that everyone got to run the motor here that did and that we had that last equipment day/party when we did! we would take our stuff to the other 2 tours like no.9 or pioneer but like i said before their stuff is 42"gauge and ours is 36. the only 2 tours that are 36 are lackawanna and seldom seen. if lackawanna was privately run things would be so much easier.

You know, I could sell this house and move up there and open a museum for you guys to store this stuff in or something.
Either that or just get a house with a big garage.
Heh...
I wouldn't want to move the whole way up to C.S. though.
Tower City area sounds good.
:)

Chris,

Ya, tough break man. Looked awesome. I was looking forward to getting some time on the motor eventually, checking the place out.

Anyhow, I can offer you some space if you'd rather not take it all the way out to seldom. Unless it'll be a display out there. I have a 26X40 pole barn with lots of room. My storage tracks aren't built yet for my "very narrow gauge" so it won't be in the way. A roll-off truck can be driven right inside.

Tried to PM you a couple times, don't know if you got it, but my main line is up and running, so just give me a shout, I have the last week of Aug off. After that, a career change may eliminate any time off. But I don't have to relocate so the barn is safe.

That goes for cars, rail, anything you'll need the space for.
