Copper wire taken from breaker site

POTTSVILLE REPUBLICAN & HERALD
Tuesday, September 9, 2008

SAINT CLAIR — Several hundred feet of copper wire were stolen from Reading Anthracite Co.’s St. Nicholas Breaker in New Castle Township between Friday and Sunday, police said.

State police at Frackville said the theft was discovered at 8 a.m. Monday at the site, which is at 46 W. Mount Lafee Road. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 874-5300
