are these near any main roads and easy to find? whenever i see something like this i try to copy down where it is so whenever im near them i can go see them. Thanks

Go southeast down the mountain (SR 4007 Highridge Park Rd,)..... Make a left at the stop sign at the bottom.......

did you get a peek in that engine house, anything inside? wouldnt that be something to find a couple of old loco's in there???

Mike, did you see the pine knot shaft when you were there? its a fenced in area right near the buildings. they're just a mount of dirt now, but theres (at least there were) signs on the fence saying "Abandoned Mine Shaft - Keep out" or something.

I didn't look inside..... It was too over grown around the doors....

I didn't walk back to the shaft. With all the recent copper thefts, I try not to wander around on Reading Anthracite property. My luck, I'd get thrown in jail.
