Drove past D&D today and it looks like the frame is down and the shanty was either on fire or being torn down? Anyone have any info as to whats up?

david a. retired a few years ago. a relative of his took the mine over. there was an altercation with the land owner and one of the miners, and they were asked to leave. basically thats it.

Yep- - - that was the first time you even pulled that one off if I remember correctly. To bad you got tied up on Sunday- - -Oh well you left us loose that day and that was your own fault 8) and the rest is history.

Do you mean that the slope is backfilled or the entire mine?

Filling an entire mine unless it is very small seems like a lot of effort and dollars.

not the entire mine. you construct a battery in the slope ( thick wall) 20feet down and fill from there up.
