Because of the Archbald/Jessup industrial park construction (destruction), the main path that lead to the three dams is cut-off. So while riding around yesterday on the CRF, I found a path that is not used often if ever. I found two drifts about 30-50 feets apart. there's that coal-rich silt on the path around the openings but I think these are boot-leg mines. I'll check it out in the future. Once again, I have been playing in this area for 20 years and have been so close to these openings but never found them till now.

where at up there exactly id like to go check them out , i go up there everyweekend on the quad. there is a decent opening that i dont think is a bootleg(could be wrong tho) right off the main road there as your going to the first dam maby 100 yards from the road. And we should meet up and go riding one of these days..

I'm always looking for someone to go riding with, I usually go after work around 6pm or later at night like 9pm. I'll go for a short ride, 1 1/2-2 hrs. Early afternoons on Saturdays. PM me with a contact number, we can meet in Jessup area like Grassy Island area. (RIP Grassy Island)
