Well this is only a guess, but by the looks of the timbering and the construction. I would have to say South Dakota.

Wow, you are definitely holding out on us Chris! A South Dakota Hard Rock mine? You must share with us your experience, your conversion to hard rock mine researcher! Did you enter through an ADIT? I get the feeling that you witnessed a huge part of mining history to make even the most schooled mine researcher's jaw drop!

PS, Don't make me have to unleash another Arizona mine slideshow! :D
