As far as safety goes, are these safe? MSHA approved? Also has anyone here seen one before?

how much do they run compared to a new koehler LED lamp? I couldnt find any prices other than ebay online ( for the Koehler)

Sam Mining stuff especially anything that has to do with personal safety is always expensive is the problem...I know you have been looking for some alternatives but there are just no cheap alternatives...we have all been through it in this group...especially in the coal mines where the risks go even higher.

A lot of people are using them. I think I still like my wheat lamp with the led head.

i miss the PTO on my wheat, but its worth the trade off for me... i like to being attached to a cord and its handy when working in starting boxes to remove from the hat and place in the box for better illumination.
