Hey any of you bitty guys know where to get the rivets for the comfo cap liners? (im thinkin about modifying my low vein) I havent looked on the net but figured id ask here first...

I will try to remember to look at mine. But I think it would be easier to find sometype of post screw or maybe a modified nylon bolt.

I suspect it is a special rivet that MSA uses. And finding a handful would require a lot of searching. The brassy thing to do would be call MSA and ask. But I doubt that would work, Comfo-Cap aren't considered repairable.

Why are you switching from the Lo-Pro to a Low-Vein, (fiberglass type)?

I looked at mine, I was thinking that liner was removable. The rivet look pretty basic try any leather supply. Tandy Leather is one choice. Or Weaver Leather has a large selection.

Also Weaver is the choice of a lot of Amish harness shops around here. If you can't find what you need let me know and I can look at some of the shops here.

The tools to set them aren't too expensive either.

Thanks doug! I don't know that id switch cause Low Pro def. has the most comfortable liner out there... but i thought i might make one for outside of work activities... No. 9 / whatever. havn't been there in a year but maybe someday again
