Looks Good ! The skin will go quick, then the wiring etc. Do you have a test flight date yet? I would guess Spring.

thanks guys, no test flying date yet. got a few other planes to fly so im not rushing it. im pretty happy with its progress.......

its based off of an acrosport 2. i redesigned some of it, calling it an ASIIS

i got my license in a Sopwith Camel. (well, a replica, really) My grandfather knows someone who is a big aviation buff, and built a replica from the ground up, using period methods. It even has a replica (read hand made from scratch with replica blueprints) 150 hp Gnome Monosoupape 9N Rotary engine. My first time flying in a plane was in a replica two seater scout biplane (for the life of me, I can't remember what it was called). I also soloed for the first time in a Camel!
The Camel also has some operational guns (blanks only) and a synchronizing gear in case he wants to have some fun with some weather balloons!

huh, must have been slow going doing all your xc work for your ppl in a camel replica. :roll: got any pics?

or are we talking on microsoft flight simulator :wink:
