Well, I found this for a class, and I couldn't resist sharing it.

That Guy is Tom Miller.
Joe Crea, who crafted the figure of the Miner that sits on my model Porter Air Motor also built a fair number of structures on the indoor layout.

No Dave, the AirMotor was built in 1" scale and my Tramway is 18" gauge fullsize.
If you know what to do with these numbers then here it is :)

Tom Miller's "ride on" as you put it , is 2-1/2" scale which he mentioned in the video, that's a track gauge of 7-1/4" or 7-1/2" depending on where you live. My tramway is fullsize not a scale something. The park railway I do trackwork for is 10-1/4" and that is 1/4th scale, but again not big enough for me.
He obviously likes to build and run/ride steam locomotives and the train is the add-on. Whereas I chose 18" gauge not to build a "Train" but to build something fullsize I could actually use on the property, to build the Mining equipment I like yet not break me physically or financially.
Very, very few people are doing this as the size factor is the overwhelming limitation, much like the chap's who build homebuilt aircraft don't try building a Lancaster or Flying Fortress 4-engined Bomber.

Hey boys, this is our big chance to break into the coal and patio heat business in India!

LOL, coal and patio heat business! :x :x :x BTW, did you get your Roundeye cap sticker? If not, pm me your address and I'll mail you a couple.

Last I knew that guy's whole property and railroad were for sale, minus the steamers. That's the scale I have, 1 1/2" scale otherwise known as "Hernia Gauge." My layout is no where near that elaborate.

Welcome back! Where were you during the great spam storm? Yes, I got the stickers. Like I said I would, I scanned one, and made some decals. I'm in the process of acquiring a 6-pack of Wathers unit coal hoppers. Would you like them to be ex-Milwaukee Road, or Ex-Soo Line? I've also got a Baldwin VO-1000 switcher in GN paint. I'm thinking of doing that in the RC&PH Co scheme. (Black with a white stripe, offset with a red stripes on either side, reminicent of the LV scheme.)

Ya, I remember sending you some. I was asking ngunderground. I haven't been on much. Kind of a slow time of year, but hoping to get to go under in the spring somewhere.
