The only problem with the Penn State maps is that they are all on Altus Tiff files, unless you have access to the Altus program you can't open them up on your computer :roll:

Hi, Gwyneth here, from the village of Cumberland on northern Vancouver Island.

I work as a colliery viewer, at various mines scattered all over the place. Thanks so much for posting the link to the Pennsylvania mine-plan collection -- ever since we visited the Continental No.190 ('Lackawanna') mine museum about 15 years ago, we've been quite interested in finding the mine plan.

Incidentally, the plan we did download was in SID format, but fortunately for us, our cartographic softeware (Surfer 12) was able to open the plan as a georeferenced base-map.
