From an article I just read it looks like they use their prison populatino to work in the mines. Make them work 13 hour shifts and make a 50 ton daily quota, or they get beatings.

Getting a chance to leave prison to work in a mine hardly seems like a punishment. But if it was a Chinese coal mine I was forced to work in, I think I'd rather daydream about mines in my cell. :roll:

How do you know thats not Iron ore in the car? There are many other things that are mined except coal!

looks like coal to me, plus look how dusty those miners are. i didnt know they put coal in ore cars.

You dang coal miners still think the world revolves around coal! I think Iron is more important! :D

you couldnt run the coal mine without iron infrastructure!

Actually up until recently we used charcoal for that! Us Iron Miners are so inventive that we made our own fuel!
